Lyrics

FLOWER IN THE WIND

A flower in the wind
Landing softly in my hand
Sunshine and ocean mist
Took wing in a hurricane

No reason to ask why
It was a life time ago
On a beach of broken shells
Winds blew down separate roads

Like a Flower In The Wind
That leaves no scar
A light that once shone bright
Now hidden by time
The wheel has turned
Love came 'round again
A new Flower in the wind
Brought the love of my life

Life is so much different now
To remember those days
Didn't know where or how
The past comes back in a gentle haze

Standing on the beach
Her long hair shining
We talked and soon were friends
In time I knew a new Flower in the Wind
Had landed in my heart, again

Many flowers have floated by
They faded and slipped away
But for this Flower in the wind
The time was right
Come rain or shine
Our truest love has stayed within
